After following Saku as he enters the hospital, Sosuke finds out that he has an older sister who does not have long to live. In such a hopeless situation, the two of them start chasing the "urban legend of the white man who can cure anything" with a desire to cling to straw. Saku and his friends run around various places in search of white people, including the poetry and singing clubs and the archeology club. Before long, they realized that this mysterious being was drawn to the song.
