Episode Description:
Meikoomon wins the frighteningly cute costumed people contest. Joe and Gomamon drift apart because of their schoolwork. Meiko is so busy that she barely has time to deal with certain things. Maki Himekawa, a government agent, invites Meikoomon out for ice cream, but he is captured by Ken Ichijouji, who makes Mimi and Joe's Digimon go after Leomon and Leomon too, but Leomon ends up feeling the effects of the digital infection. With Mimi being the only one capable of battling enemy Digimon, Gomamon finds himself alone, unable to do anything, until Kari Kamiya, brings Joe to help her partner, which makes him and Mimi go to extremes to Mega Evolution. making Ken give up the fight. However, Meikoomon mysteriously turns hostile, kills Leomon and flees to the Digital World, leaving Meiko and the other DigiDestined in a panic.
