Lois tells the family that unlike usual Christmases, they will be helping with the Christmas shopping while she gets everything else ready. They end up at the strip mall because Peter did not fill up the gas tank and fails to get anything, much to Lois' anger. Peter rushes out the door and jumps in the car to get presents and a tree, but falls asleep and dreams he bought a tree and saved their Christmas. A furious Lois leaves, claiming she needs to spend Christmas with her cousin in Cabo...
