Hajime explains his theory to the assembled group of Youko Kafuraki's staff. He believes that Yasuoga was the accomplice of the Puppet Clown who then decided to kill him. The Puppet Clown created an alibi by confusing Reika over the date on which Yasuoga was killed and Hajime accuses Yasuoga's wife Manami of being the Puppet Clown. Manami admits her guilt, saying that she was a successful actress until she was beaten and raped by thugs which ruined her career although Yasuoga offered to marry her...
