Episode Description:
After Maud Pie earns her "rocktorate" in rock science, Pinkie Pie takes her sister on a tour of Ponyville in the hope that she will move in with her. Unimpressed with Ponyville's selection of rocks and minerals, Maud agrees to stay if she can make a friend who understands her passion for rocks. She meets Starlight, and the two become fast friends as they unearth a beautiful grotto near Ponyville. However, Pinkie fails to notice their friendship and constantly tries forcing them to get along. Maud becomes annoyed with Pinkie's interference and inconsideration, and decides to move to Ghastly Gorge instead. Starlight scolds Pinkie for her inhospitality, causing the latter to realize her folly, apologize to Maud for her behavior and selfishness, and promise to never interfere again. This convinces Maud to give Ponyville a second chance, where she reunites with Starlight and sets up her new home in the underground grotto.
