Anna also escapes alongside Ichiya, and explains to the other wizards that the time rift's magic has separated Acnologia's physical body from his spirit, which remains in the rift to stabilize his newfound power with the Dragon Slayers' magic. As the wizards regroup with their allies in Magnolia, Acnologia attempts to trap Natsu in crystal with the other Dragon Slayers. However, the Dragon Slayers regain their strength and escape upon hearing their friends' voices, and prepare to battle Acnologia together.
