When their attacks prove ineffective, Laxus reveals himself to be a dragon slayer and incapacitates them. Frustrated by his plans' failure, Laxus prepares to use Fairy Law to destroy everyone in the city. Levy arrives and tells Laxus about Makarov's condition, but Laxus coldly dismisses her and casts the spell anyway.
