However, the flute is revealed to contain a gigantic demon created by the ancient dark wizard Zeref, which emerges from the flute and attempts to kill the guild masters on its own. Natsu, Gray, and Erza vanquish the demon and rescue the guild masters, but accidentally obliterate the conference hall in the process.
