They get through their discomfort by reminiscing about old times before falling asleep. The next day, Rin takes Haruka to the Sydney International Aquatic Centre to swim alongside Australia's national team, reigniting Haruka's passion for swimming. Rin tells Haru that he plans to approach his Australian coach about joining his current team. Haruka states he has also found a dream at which he can aim.
