Mayu encounters them during the battle. Before long, Nana has all her limbs ripped off and is nearly dead, but she has damaged Lucy's ability to control vectors, temporarily sealing them. Kurama, much to his frustration, is ordered by his boss, Kakuzawa, to put Nana down as she is no longer useful. Yuka discovers that Mayu is homeless, and invites her to stay at the house.
