Nearby, an egg cracks open and a young dragon with Ryuuji's eyes emerges. Nelson, who has survived, is found by Erik who promptly cuts him down. Erik threatens the dragons which causes Luffy to fight and defeat him. With the dragons safe, the Straw Hats depart for the Grand Line. They sail to Reverse Mountain, where the force of the ocean causes the current to flow uphill and down into the Grand Line. On the way up, Erik emerges to fight one more time but Nami tricks him and knocks him into the rushing waters.
