Up first are Nao Tsukinose and Taiyo Ishigami and after taking the first set, they drop the next three to lose the match 3-1. Next are Rintaro and Itsuki, and like the first pair, they lose their match 3-1. Next are Tsubasa Soga and Shingo Takenouchi, whose intimidation tactics allow them to win a set but ultimately lose 3-1. Finally, Maki and Toma play against the team's top second year team ,consisting of Arashi Oji and Shinjuro Sunaga. The two quickly fall behind, dropping the first two sets due to their inability to return Oji's serves.
