They fight once more but Nanami easily emerges victorious, and the walls of the sewer come down, crushing Mahito. Mahito survives because he was able to manipulate his own soul to save himself, and he believes himself invincible. Yuji and Junpei bond over a shared love for movies. Over dinner with Junpei's mother Nagi, Yuji tells Junpei that he doesn't want to kill because he feels it would taint him but he also feels guilty over that. Overnight, Nagi is killed when one of Sukuna's fingers, planted by Geto, attracts cursed spirits...
