Meanwhile, Cole awakens in the middle of the darkness and, upon returning to his Earth Driller, arrives at the Monastery in the middle of the battle and reunites his fellow ninja, who are all happy to have him back. Although the ninja initially have the upper hand, they are soon forced to retreat inside the Monastery and hold the Oni back as long as possible. While Jay finally asks Nya to be his Yang, with her happily accepting, Lloyd realizes that the only way to defeat the Oni is by using Creation itself, meaning that they need to recreate the Tornado of Creation.
