The first match pits Team Balle du Soleil's Gao against Team Amanosuzu Group's Suzuha. Despite Suzuha's elegant plays with her Magic World deck, Gao manages to win using Gargantua Punisher. The two shake hands after the match, and Suzuha takes her leave (and hides her embarrassment after developing feelings for Gao).
