After rescuing Basara from a horde of manipulated civilians, Kurumi witnesses Mio and Yuki 'serving' Basara first hand in the guise of being a part of a ritual between master and servant and eventually gets involved after her bickering with Maria. Driven to protecting his family, Basara swears to defeat his unidentified enemies whoever it may be.
