This causes Ban to remember falling in love with Elaine before they were fatally wounded when the Fairy King's Forest is attacked by a demon, a monster whose race were sealed away ages ago. Elaine saves Ban by giving him the Fountain of Youth through a kiss, allowing him to kill the demon and give a seed to grow a new Fairy King's Forest. As Meliodas and Diane battle the Holy Knight Guila after she projects her soul into the Necropolis, Elaine's spirit frees Ban so he can rejoin the others before eventually making herself visible to King. Elain also convinces King to protect Ban, with King executing a surprise attack from behind through Ban to strike Guila.
