Miraculous Ladybug Season 5 Episode 9 - Elation Episode Title: Elation Episode Description: Alya chastises Marinette for deciding to love Cat Noir, believing her feelings are inauthentic. Cat Noir feels the same way about his lessened feelings for Ladybug, so he decides to confront Marinette as Adrien, but he can't bring himself to. He transforms again into Cat Noir and, learning that Marinette loves him instead of Adrien, takes her to André the ice cream maker. However, André believes Marinette should love Adrien and Cat Noir should love Ladybug, making Marinette frustrated over society's expectations for her. She is almost akumatized into "Unmasker", but she rejects the akuma which instead turns André into Glaciator with the Tiger Miraculous' power of Elation. After his defeat, Marinette and Cat Noir reaffirm their love choices.
