Team RWBY and Penny reach the vault and request the Staff's guardian, Ambrosius, make Penny human to save her from the virus - causing the staff to release the floating city of Atlas, which starts to collapse onto Mantle. To evacuate the citizens, Team RWBY asks Ambrosius to create inter-dimensional doors linking the two cities to Vacuo, unaware that Cinder is in the crowd.
