Case Closed: Episode 11 English Dubbed Episode Description: Richard, with Rachel and Conan, travels to Moon Light Island after receiving a cryptic letter and payment in advance from Casper Austin, a famous pianist, requesting his services. On the island, they discover that Casper has been dead for twelve years; legend has it that he murdered his family before locking himself in his estate while it burned to the ground as he played Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata; Casper's piano is in the community hall where previous mayor Kirkpatrick was found dead, Moonlight Sonata was also heard. During the funeral for Mayor Kirkpatrick, Henry Kavanagh, the richest man on the island, is found drowned to death; the aforementioned song is heard again. Conan interprets the letter as indicating that the murders are just starting and the others spend the night near the piano along with Dr. Nadia Adams. The assisting officer explains to Conan that Casper had a son named Simon, who survived his family’s massacre as he was in a Tokyo hospital. As the police interrogate everyone the next day who were at the funeral, the second movement of Moonlight Sonata is heard and current mayor Theodore Kinsella is found violently murdered in the PA room with a knife plunged into his back.
