The ten remaining residents try to deduce who may be the murderer, but the results are inconclusive and "I" suggests that they form into three teams so no-one is alone: Team A, consisting of "I", Kunagisa and Hikari; Team B consisting of Himena, Sakaki and Sashirono; Team C consisting of Iria Akagami, Rei Handa, Chiga Akari, Chiga Hikari and Chiga Teruko. When "I", Kunagisa and Hikari return to Kunagisa's room, they find her computer system destroyed during the time all of the residents were at the meeting. "I", Kunagisa and Hikari investigate the window to Akane's room, but find no plausible solution to the mystery of her death.
