Turtle meets with him later, while he's still desperately waiting for Eri. The gang cares for him, as he fell ill while waiting for her in the rain for hours. Uncovered reads in the newspaper that Eri and the other man committed suicide. He later finds out that Eri had lied to him about everything, further adding to his pain.
