John Silver overpowers the rebel, but the captain forgives him anyway, saying his mutiny should have no consequences. During the night, Vice-Captain Arrows suddenly falls overboard and is never found. The circumstances indicate that John Silver is not entirely innocent, especially since Arrows seemed to know him from before.
