While everyone is baffled from this a gang of thieves starts to steal from people. After investigative work, it is found out that the marriage was a ploy to extort money from the Vega family. Zorro apprehends the thieves and reveals that to the young woman that her friends used her. She leaves back for Spain, but not before making Lolita jealous for one last time.
