Hanazuki, who is unable to hear the meteorites, believes Dazzlessence is hallucinating from his head injury and tries convincing him that the meteorites are not alive. When they find the Hemkas disposing of the meteorites into a crevice, Dazzlessence jumps down to rescue them and is buried under a pile of rocks. Hanazuki fearfully digs him out, growing a lime green Treasure Tree after saving him, though this still does not stop Dazzlessence from talking to the meteorites.
