He finds Poncho, a calf who feels bad because he is not as good as his papa. Casper takes him under his wing to teach him. Casper advises him to keep his head down when charging... he ends up in a bale of hay. Casper then tells him to keep his eyes on the red cape. He mistakes a red flag for the cape and runs headlong into a rail car full of explosives. They go to the bullfight, where Casper tells Poncho that his papa is in trouble. Poncho charges the matador... who is scared off by Casper instead of Poncho.
