Dr. Hartman convinces Lois to get LASIK to correct her vision. However, the surgery is botched thanks to Dr. Hartman's cat, so she is rendered blind. Lois feels unseen as a result, so Meg, who feels unseen all the time, advises her mother to vent online, which is the only normal technique that makes her feel better. Lois becomes an internet celebrity as she starts the ICU program and exploits her condition for financial gain, but is surprised to discover her sight has come back...
