The twins and the others are finally able to reach Argos, meeting with Queen Emu and King Stakku, respectively their aunt and uncle. Meanwhile, Scaal leads his troops through the Wyren Mountains in order to launch a surprise attack and retake Parros. Istavan takes Rinda across the plain to show her a mirage of a palace before sunset.
