Cream limits Polnareff's movement by erasing part of his foot. Hiding in the confusion, Iggy uses a sand replica of DIO to lure Vanilla Ice into a false sense of security to attack, but he sees through the deception and proceeds to attack Iggy in a fit of rage. Polnareff uses Iggy's leftover sand to determine Vanilla Ice's location and stab him in his mouth. Vanilla Ice retaliates by having Cream erase part of Polnareff's left hand, leg, and cheek while breaking his right arm. Vanilla Ice then decides to finish off Polnareff, who is left to accept his impending death.
