The next day, he participates in a knowledge contest, but the bell sound emitted by the buzzers turn him into an idiot every other round. Midway through, Alvin figures everything out and hacks the computer for the contest so that the buzzers emit other sounds and Simon wins the contest. The next day, the hypnotist comes back and turns Simon back to normal.
