He reveals himself as King Endymion who is Mamoru's future self, Neo Queen Serenity is Usagi's future self, and Chibiusa is their daughter. King Endymion also explains what happened to everyone in the future, the origins of Black Moon, and where the captured Sailor Guardians may be. Pluto gives Usagi a key so that they can freely travel between the past and the future Earth, and Usagi and the others return to their time. However, Chibiusa pays a visit to the future on her own, and is targeted by Black Moon's Esmeraude. Mamoru destroys Esmeraude, but the Clan's leader Prince Demande suddenly appears and captures Usagi.
