Mifune is able to get out to a 1-0 lead thanks to some errors by Taiga and Fuji. Mifune intentionally walks Toshiro whenever he comes to bat. The two teams reach the 4th inning, but bad luck strikes Seishuu again as Miyazaki's glasses break. Goro is put in for Miyazaki at 1st base, but Goro being on the field adds to the tension and sparks some life back into Seishuu.
