Taiga returns to shortstop with a dislocated thumb, and Miyazaki returns to 1st base. Scouts come from all over, including the Blue Oceans, to watch Seishuu take on the #2 team in the region. Shigeno comes expecting it to be Goro's last high school game. Instead Goro strikes out all 27 batters and begins to be recruited by the Blue Oceans. However the longer he pitches, the more likely he is to need surgery to fully repair his tendon.
