The next day, Nana's recruitment to Nadeshiko Japan becomes public knowledge. Kakeru and his friends attend Japan's exhibition match against a team from German women's Bundesliga, which concludes in a draw. Kakeru becomes depressed, realizing he is the one out of three who has yet to become a national player. Nana later cheers him up and tells him to reach his goal at his own pace.
